Atmore Resident Diane Westhoven Wins State Title
Miss Southern Plains Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 on Monday, June 3, 2024. The pageant was held at the Gogue Center in Auburn, Alabama. Westhoven, an Atmore resident and 2023 graduate of Atmore Christian School, competed against 30 other contestants for the title.
Westhoven's Journey to the Crown
Westhoven's pageant journey began when she was crowned Miss Atmore in 2023. She went on to win the Miss Southern Plains title in 2023, qualifying her for the Miss Alabama USA pageant.
During the state pageant, Westhoven impressed the judges with her poise, intelligence, and beauty. She also won the swimsuit and evening gown competitions. As Miss Alabama USA 2024, Westhoven will represent Alabama at the Miss USA pageant later this year.
